And to think I would do this for free…

I love baseball.  The Reds especially.  But lately, I am discovering new horizons.  I have the MLB.tv premium package.  We got rid of our DirectTV and have a Roku for TV downstairs.  We use Hulu Plus for most of the current shows we like and Netflix for older shows.  I am close to 180 or so episodes into The Andy Griffith Show.  That is great TV.  I have yet to watch something that would embarrass me if my mom was watching it with me or if I had recommended it to a man of the cloth.

MLB.tv is equally awesome.  Since I have the premium package, I also get the audio games.  OK, I am not sure how it works, but I think that is how it works.  I live in an area that two teams include in their broadcast areas.  The Reds are my favorite team and if I want to enjoy their games live, I get to listen to their WLW broadcasts.  The other team is the Braves.  I absolutely love listening to Don Sutton call a game.  I also really enjoy Jon Miller do a Giants game as well as the Cubs broadcast teams.  I don’t really care for the Cubs, but they have good broadcast on radio as well as TV and both are good.  I can watch all games, but have to wait until the games are over to watch the Reds’ and Braves’ video.  This isn’t a big deal since I love the sound of a baseball broadcast.

Tonight I got to listen to the Braves beat the Reds 7-4.  This happened while I continued my 1914-16 Tourney with a games between two 1915 teams.  The New York Giants were host to the St Louis Terriers.  The Terriers won 4-2 despite their pathetic 32 Fielding Points.  Tobin broke a 2-2 tie with a HR and the Giants never could get anything going after that.  Good game and I look forward to the next game

There's a fine line between visionary and wrong. Unfortunately, it takes a visionary to see it.
