And Another One Bites the Dust…

Filed under: Uncategorized — stevemryan @ 4:48 am

St Louis beat New York 4-2. Plank went the distance and had a key at-bat, reaching on a 2-base error. He then came around to score to make it 4-1 and the Giants could only manage one more run and the Terriers move on to the next round where they will face the 25th seeded 1916 New York Giants.

The Terriers are the 8th seed and have two A Grade starting pitchers at the first and third spots in the rotation. This could be trouble in future rounds if the drop the first game. They will have a weaker pitcher in a do-or-die game, but come back with Plank AXZ in the deciding game. But they have to make it that far, which could be difficult. Pitching aside, their fielding is their biggest obstacle that they have to overcome.

The tourney is going well and it is a lot of fun. I believe I am getting better with the BallScore Program and may even be able to use it at the 2013 APBA Convention Tournament. I can’t imaging keeping score by hand since my hands have a slight tremor and if I have 10 games in one day, the fatigue will make it worse. I have over a month to continue to get familiar with this program and I can do it.

There's a fine line between visionary and wrong. Unfortunately, it takes a visionary to see it.
