And then it got ugly…

Filed under: Uncategorized — stevemryan @ 3:56 am

This game played like a 5 seed v a 60 seed.  The final score was 9-2 and it didn’t seem that close.  The ’16 BoSox scored early and often.  The Cards ran into Leonard, an A grade pitcher and it seemed like most of their outs to lead off an inning were due to the pitcher’s grade.  The Red Sox will face the winner of the 28 seed from Buffalo of the 1914 Federal League and the 37 seed 1915 Chicago Cubs.  That should be a fairly close match-up.

Of the nine teams that have advanced, six have been American League teams, two from the Federal League and one from the National League.  Six NL teams have been eliminated along with three AL teams.  Maybe the Federal League was a legitimate league?

So far the Tournament has been very enjoyable and I continue to learn things about the BallScore program.  I think I figured out a mistake I was making when pinch-hitting for the pitcher.  I also have been getting an annoying ‘Access Denied’ error message and have posted on the BallStat Forums for some help.  The program is now a freebie, but the support is still very good.  I like that!  Until later!

There's a fine line between visionary and wrong. Unfortunately, it takes a visionary to see it.
