The Rebels take the series…

Filed under: Uncategorized — stevemryan @ 5:21 am

The Rebels hold on for a 5-4 series victory.  The amazing thing was the pitcher for the Rebels, Rogge (B) went the distance.  Caldwell (AYZ) came in to relieve the Yankees starter, Warhob (BZ), and ended up allowing 2 runs that proved to be the difference.Image

Jon Miller is calling the top of the 9th inning of Homer Bailey’s No-Hitter in Cincinnati.  Miller is the Giants broadcaster, but he exudes excitement.  He is such a good announcer because he lets his love of the game come through in the job.  He has a vast knowledge of the game and his passion for the game is easy to hear.  Listening to him call any game is infectious and I can’t say enough about how well he does his job.  In an emails I get with inspirational quotes, one of the quotes just this week was something like, “When there is passion in the work, excellence is soon to follow.”  Seems like Ghandi (sp?) was the person who said it.  Very well done!

There's a fine line between visionary and wrong. Unfortunately, it takes a visionary to see it.
