I keep rolling…

Today’s match-up featured the 14th seeded 1915 Chicago Whalers v the 51st seeded 1915 Brooklyn Tip-Tops.  When playing the games the higher seed is always the visiting team in the first game.  If the home team wins the first game, then the higher seed is the home team in the 2nd game.  If the two teams split the first two games, then the higher seed is the visiting team in the third and deciding game.  Not sure if I have followed this since I started the tournament, but I have tried to be consistent since the beginning.  I may have changed it a little, but most changes just seemed more practical when I made them.

The game was a good game with the Whalers coming from behind to win 3-2.  The Tip-Tops jumped ahead 2-1 in the first but lost it in the 6th inning on walks and poor fielding.  At least that is how I remember it.

On a different note, the APBA Game company is taking pre-orders for an updated football game and 2012 football cards.  What makes this unique is that for the first time, the company is releasing college football cards as well as NFL cards.  That should be interesting.  I am not a big football fan, but college football cards should make for interesting games.  So far there just seems to be cards for the PAC-12 and most of the SEC.  12 teams are shown on the company website for the SEC, but 630 cards at 45 per team seems to be closer to 14 teams.  I may need to get my calculator and figure that one out.  Anyway, if should be interesting.  And as always, life is good!

There's a fine line between visionary and wrong. Unfortunately, it takes a visionary to see it.
