So there I was…

11th seeded 1914 Boston Red Sox  went to the 54th seeded 1914 Pittsburgh Rebels and won 3-0.  Collins (BZ) pitched a complete game and the Red Sox turned two double plays behind his six strikeouts, no walks and six hits.

We finished West Wing today.  I put it in my top five TV Shows bumping Sports Night out of my top five.  I justify this by the way the shows ended. Sports Night was canceled and the shows ended unexpectedly.  West Wing had some closure with no hanging story lines.  Sports Night ended up with the equivalent of jumping the shark.  The show was going good and the two or three last episodes kind of attempted to wind things up in total weirdness.  Still the wife has never seen Sports Night and she needs to understand why I enjoy Aaron Sorkin and Josh Molina.

On another note, I finished my personal trek through 249 episodes of the Andy Griffith Show.  That is a great show and actually has good lessons.  Not sure how many shows do that currently.  I think my next personal TV Show Episode Trek will be something less inspirational.  Life is good!

There's a fine line between visionary and wrong. Unfortunately, it takes a visionary to see it.
