Filed under: Uncategorized — stevemryan @ 6:25 pm

The Brown scored once in the top of five but the Cubs answered with three in the bottom of six. The rally by the Browns fell short as they dropped the game and the series. Carl Weilman took the Loss going eight innings and allowing three earned on seven hits, two walks with two Ks. Bert Humphries went nine allowing two earned on six hits, three walks, and also whiffing two. The Cubs win the series and advance to face the winner between the 1914 & 1915 Philadelphia Athletics.
